Blue Springs-MO Home Nearly Destroyed By Fire

he entire on-duty shift of the Central Jackson County (CJC) Fire department along with units from Lee's Summit- Sni Valley and Fort Osage's departments fought a fire in a lived-in house in the 2100 block of Southwest Park Avenue just before 3:15 am Sunday morning.


The occupants got out before flames- visible by police units from as far as 6 blocks away- consumed the roof and upper floor of the residence by 3:17 am..

It took more than an hour and a half to bring the fire under control.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
