Former KC-MO police officer and former mayorial candidate Alvin Brooks spoke out on the two random killings over the weekend.
Mr. Brooks stated that those caught with unregistered- illegal weapons should automatically do jail time.
Two homicides this past weekend were the result of random gunfire.
Friday night a Lawrence-KS woman who had attended Starlight Theater with her 13-year-old daughter and morther-in-law was killed by random gunfire at 59th Street and northbound U.S. 71.
Sunday morning- a woman in her 50's was killed and a man about 30-year-old was critically injured by bullets fired during a "rolling gunbattle" on Troost.
Councilwoman Melba Curls thinks there's a gang problem in KC-MO..
Many of us think KC-MO's inner city is becoming untenable.
