Though Metro Kansas City is not under any severe weather watch yet- there is Severe Thunderstorm Watch No. 528 that includes only Anderson and Coffey counties Kansas in the extreme southwestern MetroRegion.
Thunderstorms are beginning to fire up along a cold front that will move through the MetroRegion tonight.
The front wil usher in cooler and drier air Sunday and the first of next week- with highs in the 80's and lows in the 60's.
