Kansas City MetroRegion Weather: Chance Of Severe Storms Through At Least Early Friday

The entire Kansas City MetroRegion is in a risk area for possible severe thunderstorms and all their nasty weather through at least Friday morning- if you'll refer to the images of those forecasts enclosed (click for full size).

The Day-3 outlook for all day Friday includes those areas generally southeast of K.C.- around the Quad Lakes area.

With the increased severe threat comes a heightened threat for flash flooding and more general river flooding.

The Missouri is already running high- as illustrated by these photos taken near the I-435-East bridge near Randolph.

Look for hopefully some spectacular skies- as seen yesterday at sunset here in the Kosmic City.
