KANSAS CITY Metro WEATHER: Excessive Rainfall Likely- Tornado Watch Continues



The following graphic- from the NWS' Hydro Prediction Center (HPC)- shows Kansas City and surrounding areas bulls-eyed for a high risk of excessive and flooding rains overnight.


As much as 4-5-inches of rain could fall in some areas where thunderstorms continue to track over the same areas.

Tornado Watch No. 514 continues through 10pm tonight- and this watch well may be extended later than that.
