At least six companies of the Lee's Summit Fire department are battling a fire in a house in the central part of that southern Jackson county city.
The initial alarm sounded at 4:13 p.m. for an address in the 1300 block of Northeast Magnolia Street and the response was upgraded to "a first alarm" at 4:18 p.m..
The incident was reported as a car fire in an attached garage to a house- which has spread to other parts of the 1-1/2-story structure.
Thus far- no injuries have been reported- and the fire was under control by 4:40 p.m..
Units from the South Metro and Grandview Fire departments were filling-in empty LSFD stations.
