One person each was killed in the wrecks- and since I don't work the weekend overnight hours- I'm at the mercy like you of little detailed information on the crashes.
The first was reported by KC-KS police around 4 a.m. on 55th Street near Oak Grove Road when an SUV containing several people lost control and crashed- killing a passenger and giving the other occupants what's reported as "non life-threatening injuries."The second fatal crash was at KC-MO's most dangerous intersection of I-70 and I-435 just after 4:45 a.m..
The KC-MO Police say one vehicle crashed and caught fire- and the driver whose identity is not yet being released- was killed.
