Two Downtown Sedalia MO Buildings Collapse

O
n Christmas Eve- The SEDALIA (MO) NEWS-DEMOCRAT reports that two buildings in the downtown area collapsed on Christmas Eve.

The buildings- shown here in better times via Google's StreetView- were in the 100 block of South Osage.

No one occupied the collapsed structures nor was anyone nearby when the buildings inexplicably came down.

The City of Sedalia was giving the building's owners 2 weeks (2 weeks??!!) to clean up the mess that's blocked Osage Street in front of the collapsed buildings.
