K.C. Metro WEATHER UPDATE: No Watch - Severe Weather Yet



T
he southeastern half of the Kansas City MetroRegion remains under a moderate risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon into tonight.


The only watches to affect the K.C. MetroRegion is to the northeast- Tornado Watch No. 293 that includes cities as Chillicothe and Bethany-MO..


The cold front is just to our northwest- and thunderstorms could fire rapidly along the front anytime now- as shown by new cells developing in Leavenworth County-KS on radar (below).
