A shooting victim has just been confirmed at the Ameristar Casino at 8201 Northeast Birmingham in KC-MO.. The call came in at 5:19am and police arrived at 5:28am- confirming a victim located outside the casino shortly thereafter.
The victim's injuries are said to be life-threatening with a possible crime scene being scouted "on the road leading to (Missouri) 210."

UPDATE- 0555 CST: MAST-EMS has transported the victim who they report as "a 54-year-old male - shot in the face while sitting in his car" emergency to an area trauam center.
The casino closed at 4am and would not open again until 8am. So far- no immediately known motive for the shooting.
