Election Day 2008 - Southeastern Kansas City-MO

Ms. Rittenhouse and I arrived at our polling place about 10 minutes prior to the 6am opening and we were pleasantly surprised by a long line of voters.

We finally got inside to cast our ballots about 10 minutes till 7 and were out by 7am. We were voters 70 and 71 at our polling place on Hillcrest north of 87th Street.

An informal straw poll of those in line prior to our voting indicated Obama was winning by a landslide.
