The Kansas City area needs ANOTHER 4-lane roadway in the middle of nowhere like America needs 4 more years of President Dubya.
In case you haven't heard- Johnson County wants to build a 4-lane roadway in the more-sparsely populated part of the county to connect U.S. 69 with U.S. 71 in Cass County MO..
Then the other day- the JoCo Clueless said they couldn't AFFORD the commuter rail and will settle for busses that are subject to weather & traffic delays like cars not to mention they don't exactly run on water.
Of course you don't have much money for public transit Johnson County- you spend it all doing or re-doing roadways.
If people want to move out into the boondocks and work in the city- let THEM figure out the best and fastest way to work- GEEZ- quit the slash and pave of our landscape.
Guess it will take the soon-to-come $4 and $5 per gallon gas to even get the Clueless' attention....
