CENTRAL STATES WEATHER ALERT: Heavy Rains In SE Kansas And SW Missouri

Thunderstorms that formed over eastern Kansas and western Missouri this Saturday afternoon continue to slowly move southward into the alerted areas (click on images) as you can see by the latest NWS radar image.

Rainfalls (next image) are radar-indicated to be approaching 3 inches in some areas- with these small but intense rain-producing thunderstorms seemingly slowing down as they moved south into the alerted areas.
Please use caution while driving in SE Kansas and SW Missouri this afternoon and evening.

At this time- there is no thunderstorm activity threatening the KC Metro.
