Internet Flaming Becomes Real For A Texas Man

An online feud resulted in a U.S. Navy man driving to Texas to burn down another man's trailer.

Fire Controlman 2nd Class Petty Officer Russell Tavares even posted state border signs as he drove from Virginia to John G. Anderson's home near Waco-TX during that online tiff in 2005.

Tavares then attempted to burn down Anderson's trailer house. Anderson was burned as a result of the fire that destroyed his home.

Tavares was sentenced to 7 years in prison for the arson.
