Around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday morning- KC-MO emergency services were called to a parking garage in the Zona Rosa shopping district near I-29 and Barry Road on a reported shooting.
Police arrived and found aa adult male with a gun in his hand dead on-the-scene.
This incident appears to be a self-inflicted shooting according to KC-MO police.

So much is going on at Zona Rosas we dont' hear about. I have a friend who was abducted by two men and robbed there. She is so blessed not to have been killed. Another girl had the same thing happen to them a few week ealier. Why aren't we hearing about this on the news?
It's because except for KSHB overnight on weekends- none of the news media in Kansas City has people that SOLELY monitor the radio scanners for news.
I wish I could monitor things more than I do- but with other obligations and the fact the CSW blog is non-commercial- I only can report what I hear when I hear it except for those above-indicated weekend overnights.
The reason I do this at all Anon 2:55pm- is because before I became available to do this for Kansas City news media in 1991- a LOT of things I casually heard on radio scanners never made the news.
You'd be surprised at the news that doesn't get reported (especially inner-city stuff)....
