At 11:41 a.m.- nine companies of the KC-MO Fire department were dispatched to a reported building collapse at a church at 1701 East Linwood Boulevard in Midtown.
The first-arriving company at 11:43 a.m. reports that the "southeast" part of the church had indeed fallen down- but the building was "unoccupied" and no other structures are reported damaged not are there any injuries.
Utility companies and "dangerous buildings" inspectors have been requested to the scene.
