According to KC-MO Fire and EMS reports- a 32-year-old male had most of his right hand blown off by fireworks early Sunday morning/Fourth of July Eve.
The incident was reported to those agencies at 3:30 a.m. and it was in the 8100 block of North Hickory- southwest of the Metro North mall area.
The man was rushed to a Northland medical trauma center in serious condition but with no other apparent injuries.
A fire department and arson investigator was sent to the scene.
