Less Water- Higher Floods on The Mississippi


As man has tried to control the flow and direction of one of Planet Earth's great rivers- each generation brings new and higher floods.


Take a few hours and read this story that was published in THE NEW YORKER magazine in 1987 and authored by John McPhee titled "The Control of Nature- ATCHAFALAYA."
