The call was received by emergency services around 11:20 a.m. Monday morning- police say a caller told of a male in his 50's who had been shot in the chest.
Police arrived at 11:26 a.m. and confirmed the man had "been hit by several "shotgun" pellets"- but the victim's condition did not appear to be immediately life-threatening.
Witnesses reportedly told police the suspects- "a white male and a black male left in a 1995 blue pickup truck- northbound on Topping" from the scene.
Fire department EMS took the "52-year-old male" with "multiple buckshot wounds to his abdomen" in serious to critical condition to a Metro medical trauma center.
