CSW WEATHER: Snowshowers Will Lead To Slick Roads

B
een watching a northwest-southeast oriented area of snowshowers most of the morning into this afternoon west to southwest and south of Metro Kansas City.

This area is showing from Leavenworth County south-southeastward through Johnson into Miami and Linn counties Kansas.

Some moderate snowfall rates indicated both by weather radar and Overland Park traffic cameras.

The briefly moderate snows could well create locally slick surfaces and roadways in the upper-20-degree temperatures.

Hey Cap?
5 to 8 inches of snow expected in Southern Mississippi here through mid-afternoon Friday. I hope we don't lose power, but that's a high possibility. Pray that the locals stay off the highways; we don't know how to drive in this mess!
