Beginning at 4:58 pm- a total of nine KC_MO Fire companies have been dispatched to a working apartment building fire with reported possible persons trapped in the 14500 block of South U.S. 71 highway.
The fire is at the Cloverleaf Apartments- and the equivalent of a 2nd-alarm in fire companies had been sent before the first company arrived at 5:06 pm..
Responding companies began reporting smoke showing up to a mile away- and when Pumper 42 arrived they report fire showing from the 2nd story of a 3-story building there.

As of this post- the firefight is on with the report of "4" minor injuries- but no confirmed persons trapped.
