Right NOW- it appears that most of this in a series of winter storms will affect areas MOSTLY in the southern Kansas City MetroRegion and the southern Central States of Arkansas- Oklahoma as well as southern Kansas and Missouri.
These areas will see ice and snow accumulations- the latter of up to a foot.
At this time- the ONLY areas of Metro Kansas City to be POSSIBLY affected by light snowfall will be south of I-70- probably south of U.S. 50.
As with all storms that are 1 to 2 days from striking- the situation and areas affected can change- so we'll keep a weather eye as always on this developing situation.
