Fire crews from Baldwin City and Lawrence are busy on 2 incidents involving lightning strikes on house in their cities.
The first strike was reported at 11:09 am in Baldwin City- in the 1000 block of (ahem) Fire Tree Avenue.
First-arriving fire crews didn't see any smoke or fire upon arrival and it seems this incident just produced some dame to the house there.
The next incident sounded at 11:11 am in Lawrence: in the 2300 block of Haversham Drive.
There a resident reportedly suffered a minor injury when the lightning struck- as well as damage to that home but no fire.
