The KANSAS CITY BUSINESS JOURNAL says American Airlines will still owe more than $23-million on it's lease of the old TWA overhaul base at K.C.I. airport.
American is planning to close-out their operations at the overhaul base by September 2010.
IF the City of KC-MO can rent out part of the base- American could be off the hook for the more than $23-mil lease payments the story states.
