The watch will run until 8 pm and include the extreme southern MetroRegion counties of Vernon in Missouri- including Nevada- and Bourbon county in Kansas- including the city of Fort Scott.
I fully expect other watches that will include Metro Kansas City will be issued this afternoon- particularily a Flash Flood Watch.
We could get A LOT of rain in a short time- and with satuated soils I don't need to remind you of what that means.
