A tornado has reportedly struck in or very close to Kearney-NE..
Kearney- population about 27500 people- is in central Nebraska.
A radio reporter in Grand Island told me moments ago that power is out in downtown Kearney and that "a Union Pacific train had been tipped over."

UPDATE: 6:40PM- Just spoke with Tammy at the EOC office at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney-Nebraska.
As of 6:35pm- there was yet no admittances at the hospital there- although Tammy said there "had been 3 tornadoes in the area." She stated there was "some damage- yet unclear" what that damage was as another tornadic storm was bearing down on Kearney as we spoke.
