Metro K.C. Bloggers More Than Opinions

Dan of the Gone Mild blog reports about 15 local bloggers showed up Saturday at the K.C. Harvesters food bank to assist in preparing items for distribution to people in need.

A wonderful way for bloggers to meet and help the community as well- and everyone who showed up is highly commended by your Captain.

I only wish Diane and I had been able to attend- hard to do when one works overnights on weekends. But we've decided to lend ourselves to a local organization for a weekday holiday assignment in the next few weeks.
