*** METRO GUNS KILL AT LEAST ONE- LEAVE 2 OTHERS IN VERY CRITICAL AND SERIOUS CONDITION ***

*** At least 2 of the three lead-poisoned people are reported to be males- two of the incidents reported as "possibly self-inflicted."

The dead GSW recipient was found in a Downtown KC-MO residential structure just before 1 am Saturday morning. An initial indication from police detectives is this gunshot was "possibly self-inflicted. "

Just before the Downtown call- KC-KS agencies responded to another "possibly self-inflicted" shooting call in the area of 49th and Leavenworth Road. That young male with a gunshot to the temple was in very bad shape when taken to an area trauma center.

The last incident was in southern Blue Springs-MO off of Missouri-7 highway- a man in his 40's shot in the back- and initially reported to be "accidental." That man's injuries were serious to critical.

All 3 incidents have been or are being investigated.

Kansas City MetroRegion skies were mostly cloudy overnight- even some showers moved through northwestern portions. Temperatures fell from the lower 70's to the lower 60's to near 60 most areas at daybreak. South winds ranged from around 5 to 15 m.p.h.

Today- above seasonal normal temperatures can be expected- highs in the 80-85-degree range. South breezes this morning will increase to 10-20 m.p.h. this afternoon ahead of strong low pressure developing to our west.

There is a chance for brief showers and thunderstorms by midday Sunday.
