KC-MO Fire- their Haz-Mat unit- as well as MAST-EMS & police responded around 10 am to Hallmark Cards headquarters.Information received from the scene so far is that one employee opened a package with a return address from Africa- and was covered in an unknown substance.
That employee has reportedly "developed a rash on his arms- face and chest" according to a Haz-Mat official at 10:11 am.. He is being treated.
No word if Hallmark headquarters has been evacuated or just that area where the package was opened.
