Dear Governor Brownback,
I was told I had to apologise to you regarding the remarks I made on my apparently not-so-private Twitter account.
I want to say to you that I am sorry.
I am sorry for the budget cuts you have made to our most important national resource: the education of our children.
I am sorry for other cuts you made to social services that go (mostly) to those in our state in financial distress.
I am sorry for all the tax exemptions and other corporate welfare my state keeps handing out to the wealthy as the above cuts were made.
Most of all, I am sorry you- Governor Brownback- are the governor of our (once) great state and for the fact that you, Mr. Governor, do indeed suck.
Most sincerely and respectfully submitted although I won't,
(Sign your name here Emma)
PS: A very Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year and may I suggest some holiday reading Governor Brownback, like the American Constitution and the accompanying American Bill of Rights.

I can't say whether Emma Sullivan agrees with the comments in this blog about how she should apologize. But if I were in her position, I'd say that I'm sorry that Kansas is a state that punishes a citizen for publicly disliking an incumbent politician. The school she attends is a public school---an organ of the state. This is very much an instance of the state taking action against a citizen for speaking out against the governor.
Agreed Unknown and thanks...
My literary suggestion is mostly toungue and cheek.
I hope Lord Brownback realizes that it's a blogging joke to my dozen or so readers so his taxpayer-paid minion doesn't call my mommy....
Brownback is a douche plain and simple I hope in a way he gets sued for once I'd be all for it.
Some how some way his political life should be over.
"once great state" give me a break! Drink the Koolaid. Come on use your brain and think for yourself. This letter is nothing more than DNC talking points. As predictable as the sun coming up and going down. At least give us something entertaining in this waste of time post. I did giggle a bit on the "once great state" comment though.
