The National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has (supposively) issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch (about 30 minutes ago) that will be valid until 3 PM this Tuesday afternoon.
This watch will include the MetroRegion cities of Kansas City- Topeka and Lawrence. No other areal coverage is known- since the SPC has yet to issue any watch graphics.
We'll have several periods of thunderstorms today- with the highest likelyhood of severe weather coming later this Tuesday afternoon and evening.
