KANSAS CITY'S WEATHER: WINTER STORM WARNING



The Kansas City Metro is now under a Winter Storm Warning until late tonight.


Thunderstorms continue in the southern and southwestern parts of the MetroRegion- and this activity will continue moving northeast over the Metro today.

Significant accumulations of freezing rain- sleet and/or snow are likely now from the K.C. Metro northward.

Some portions of northeastern Kansas and northwestern Missouri could receive around a foot of snow.

Vote early today- before temperatures go below freezing this afternoon.
