KANSAS CITY'S WEATHER: Mid-Week Snowfall

Welcome to the bitter depths of winter- temperatures are not likely to rise above freezing for at least 5 days after the next cold front moves through late Tuesday-early Wednesday.

On top of that- a low pressure storm system now moving into the southwestern British Columbia coast of Canada- causing the heavy rain depicted in this latest web cam shot from Vancouver- will move into our area on Wednesday- producing anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of snow.

Thus far- there are no "official" NWS advisories on this forecasted snowfall- but please stay tuned. We're also likely to see single-digit temperatures by Saturday morning here in the K.C. Metro..
