KANSAS CITY'S BREAKING WEATHER: THE PRECIPITATION HAS BEGUN

It's mostly in the western/southwestern half of the KC Metro right now- and it's spreading across the Metro now.

Roads are wet in Johnson County KS according to traffic cameras- with temperatures hovering at or just above freezing in most areas.

So far- I have heard no traffic accidents associated with slick roadways as of this post.

It's lightly sleeting here by the old Bannister Mall.
