The alarm was sounded at 2:22 pm Friday afternoon for 5 Kansas City MO Fire companies to respond to a reported house fire in the 5600 block of North Potter in the Gracemor subdivision north of Worlds of Fun.
Arriving units report a "working fire in a 1-1/2-story residence" with "all occupants out" uninjured.
At 2:42 pm- firefighters had rescued a family dog from the house- the animal sounds to be okay.
The fire was reported under control at 2:44 pm- and the Red Cross was requested for the "2 adults and 5 children" displaced by the fire.
