This Severe Thunderstorm Watch No. 340 includes Metro K.C. counties of Wyandotte- Leavenworth in Kansas and Missouri counties of Platte- Clay and Ray until 5 am Sunday morning.
Other Missouri cities included in the watch are St. Joseph- Chillicothe- Bethany and Kirksville.
Thunderstorms should begin to affect northwestern Leavenworth county Kansas in a little over an hour from this report.
