K.C. and Topeka NWS Radar Indicated Precipitation Maps

ere are the rainfall totals so far for Metro and MetroRegion Kansas City as indicated by our 2 covering NWS Doppler radars in Topeka and Pleasant Hill/KC-MO.


The color codes are on the left side of each image- showing the preciptation amounts registered by the radar during the time period (since Saturday) indicated in the information box on the upper right side of the image.

Rainfalls in Metro K.C. ranged from around 2 to locally 4 inches. More rainshowers today- but should not significantly exacerbate any high water issues.

Any forecasted severe weather today will be south and southeast of Metro K.C..
