KC-MO police are investigating the 3rd homicide since midnight Saturday morning.
This incident was reported at 12:40am- a citizen reported "a white male down in the street" at 24th Street and Jackson.
Police arrived 4 minutes later and reported the victim had been shot in the back of the head.
MAST-EMS transported the man- said to be in his 40's- to an area medical trauma center where he died after arrival.
There was no suspect information available.
