<><><> OVERNIGHT WEATHER <><><>

Cloud cover developed overnight over central and southern parts of the Kansas City MetroRegion- actually helping to moderate some area temperaturtes that had once again fallen below zero..

A day twice as warm as yesterday will still struggle to see temperatures reach the freezing mark- as high clouds slowly overspread the late-day sky in advance of our next winter storm system Monday into early Tuesday.

That storm system looks to bring light rain and drizzle to about the southern half of the MetroRegion- with light freezing rain and/or drizzle- sleet and/or snow expected in roughly the northern half.

Another cold front will sweep through by early Tuesday- changing all precip briefly to light snow before ending. Temperatures will again chill to the zero mark by Wednesday morning.

Frigid but dry weather expected then until next weekend.
