At 0653 CDT- this statement from the NWS office office in Dallas-Fort Worth-TX in part reads:

"FLOODING CONTINUED OVER NORTHERN TARRANT AND PORTIONS OF DENTON COUNTIES. SUBSTANTIAL PROPERTY DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED AS A RESULT OF THE FLOODWATERS. RAINFALL IN EXCESS OF 6 INCHES FELL DURING THE OVERNIGHT STORMS.
