*STRUCTURE FIRES IN KC, KS. AND RAYTOWN, MO..*

A fairly tranquil early Saturday morning spot-newswise.

Eight minutes into the new day Kansas City, KS firefighters raced to the 1600 block of North 59th Street where they found a duplex on fire.
No one was hurt and arson was suspected.

Just before 2 am, Raytown emergency services went to a house fire in the 8100 block of Sterling. A child received minor smoke inhalation. The blaze reportedly started in a basement bedroom and spread to the first-floor and attic areas of the lived-in house. The fire was reported out at 3:03 am and the cause was under investigation.
