The NWS' Storm Prediction Center's (SPC) latest convective (tstm) outlook for the rest of this Thursday has eastern and southern parts of Metro KC outlooked for possible severe thunderstorms (tstms).
The immediate city and environs are in a "marginal" risk area for severe storms.
In addition- a large part of Kansas and Missouri is included in a "Flash Flood Watch" that is valid through Sunday July 3.
Currently- there are NO watches or warnings in effect for the Kansas City MetroRegion- but that should change later today and certainly by late Friday....
