Central Jackson County (CJC) and Sni Valley Fire Protection District (FPD) crews are assisting fighfighters from the Fort Osage FPD on a working house fire in the 24200 block of East Atherton-Sibley Road.The first call to the address in unincorporated northern Jackson County was dispatched at 2:51 p.m. on a reported "smoke in the attic" in the house there.
First-arriving fire crews reported smoke showing from the single-story structure and are out on extinguishment right now.
No reports of anyone found inside the house and no reports of injuries as of this post.
