On Sunday- August 23- 2009- 2000 guitarists will gather at the Luckenbach Texas Events in Fredricksburg-TX to try and break a world record.
The mass of musicians will try and play 2 songs- "This Land Is Your Land" and (of course) "Luckenback- Texas" for at least 5 minutes each to qualify for the Guinness Book record.
Among that 2000 will be Austin-TX's Perry Wing.

WOO HOO! We did it! We broke the GUINNESS BOOK of WORLD RECORDS! WOW, what an experience! If you missed it, YOU MISSED OUT! Words can not describe how awesome this weekend was! (The heat on the other hand, I could have done without! LOL) I am proud to say that I am picker #274 of 1859 people that put Luckenbach Texas in the RECORD BOOKS! ... It was absolutely amazing!
