A strong storm system will produce severe weather and heavy rain throughout the Kansas City MetroRegion beginning late Saturday and possibly continuing off and on until next Tuesday.
As you can see by the latest NWS Hydro Prediction Center graphic- parts of the Kansas City MetroRegion could receive upwards of 5 inches of rain by next Tuesday.
So in addition to possible severe thunderstorms beginning late Saturday- we can expect heavy- possibly flooding rainfalls over the next 5 days or so.
