As you can see by the latest weather radar- moderate to heavy precip- ice- is heading for the KC Metro from the southwest.
Sheriff deputies in Miami County KS reported sleet falling there just before 3:30am.This precip area will overspread the K.C. Metro over the next several hours- lasting for several more. Expect sleet and freezing rain with this activity.
