MORE THAN HALF-DOZEN PERSONS SHOT AT A KANSAS CITY, MO. NIGHTCLUB.

****Police report "10" people injured - "9" of them shot - at the "6902 Club" in the 6900 block of Prospect around 11:30 pm Friday night.

Three of those shot are reported to be in critical condition.
At least one of those shot was driven to a nearby hospital before police arrived. One male patient "had his fingers blown off" by gunfire. Another man was "shot in the thigh" - another "in the buttocks." Police also say another patrons' injuries are "not life-threatening - a (male) trampled in the panic" as the shots were fired.

Police were seeking the shooter in "a white Cadillac - last seen southbound on Prospect." The suspect said to be "a black male - 5'7" to 5'10" (tall)- 190 pounds (with) gold upper front teeth."

Victims went to 5 area trauma centers - closing some of those trauma centers for several hours. Four fire companies - 9 MAST ambulances and at least a dozen police cars responded to the scene.

***A mid to late-teen male was in serious to critical condition after being beaten & stabbed in KC's Northeast area.
It happened in the area of Independence Avenue and Benton around 1:30 am. Police didn't report any suspect information. The "16-17-year-old" was taken to a nearby suburban trauma center.


**Another man reportedly walked from where he was stabbed to find police.
An officer at Armour & Troost reports the victim says his injuries were sustained at a house around 33rd & Paseo. The "47-year-old" patient was taken emergency by MAST to a trauma center.

***Two "young females" suffered critical injuries in a one-car rollover accident in Miami County KS. near Paola around 2:15 am. Paola FD extrication equipment was necessary for both occupants.
Scene EMS command tried to get 2 medical helicopters to the wreck- but only one would fly. At least one patient remained unconscious throughout the EMS transport.

***BREAKING***
0745 am - House fire on KC, MO's East side - 1800 block of Newton. Flames are reported knocked down 10 minutes later. Firefighters don't find any bodies inside.
