Weather Update and Select Traffic Camera Views Around JoCo-KS

A
bout another inch or two of snow has fallen since late Tuesday night over Metro Kansas City.

Temperatures have fallen into the mid to upper teens and light snow is falling along with blowing snow.

West to northwest winds are gusting into the 30 mph range with wind chill readings now in the single-digits.

Wet roads are rapidly developing a thin sheet of ice- as the effectiveness of road salt falls with the temperature.

The only wreck I've heard since 4 am is on southbound I-435 north of 87th Street in KC-MO at 4:30am- but for some reason I cannot access the K.C. Scout website.

I CAN access everybody else's webcams- so here are some camera views around JoCo KS and around the K.C. Region recently.
