KC-MO Northland Teen Burned By Bonfire



A
15-year-old male suffered burns to both legs while trying to "stomp-out" a large bonfire in the 6100 block of North Drury early Sunday.



The incident occurred around 1:40 am and the victim had gone to another location in the 5600 block of Northeast 62nd Street.

The teen suffered "1st & 2nd-degree burns to both legs below the knees" according to a MAST-EMS paramedic and was transported to a Northland hospital in good condition.

It took 2 KC-MO fire companies to extinguish the bonfire and the incident was investigated with no results available yet.
