The incident was reported at 1:55 am Sunday morning at Northwest Vivion Road and Frontier in unincorporated Northmoor.
Riverside Police reported this was "a hit & run" on "3 pedestrians."
One of the pedestrians was dead on arrival of 3 MAST-EMS units sent- one patient had critical injuries and the 3rd had not immediately life-threatening injuries.
Police said the striking vehicle was "a red Ford F-150 pickup truck with heavy front-end damage- last seen northbound on Frontier."
